Reconnecting With the Joy of Hobbies
Let’s remember a time way, way back when we were children. Back when we had all the time in the world to explore what life had to offer us. If you’re around my age, then you probably have a faint little memory of life before the internet. Gasp. I know, I know, I just aged myself a bit, but that’s not the point here.
What I really want to know is: what did you do with that time?
Personally, I hopped my way through every hobby from reading to drawing, writing, even gaming. You name it, I’ve probably tried it. At one point, there was even an original comic book being drafted by yours truly. Think: all the pop girlies from the early 2000s fighting crime between concerts. Cue Destiny’s Child and Britney Spears nostalgia.
The thing is, back then, it wasn’t about collecting hobbies (or their supplies). It was about discovery and exploration.
Now I’m on a journey of rediscovery. I’m reconnecting with myself, exploring old interests, and making space for new ones. But instead of chasing nostalgia, I want to reawaken the part of me that loved connecting with the world around me.
And that, dear reader, is where the Cozy Hobby Shop comes in.
What is the Cozy Hobby Shop?
The Cozy Hobby Shop is about living with intention. It’s a space that encourages people to slow down and reconnect with their creativity through playful exploration.
It’s not about being perfect or productive all the time. It’s about finding joy in the process. Whether that means threading a needle, stitching a scene, or getting a little messy with some beads and glue, this shop is here to hold space for it all.
What I’ve Been Creating Lately
These days, life has been about finding passion through personal projects while ticking off a few side quests. I’ve added a handful of new hobbies to my ever-growing repertoire: diamond painting, sewing, even coloring books. Crafting with my hands again feels like a breakthrough.

A Creative Space for New and Seasoned Crafters
Cozy Hobby Shop is for budding hobbyists. Whether you’ve never crafted before or you’re a seasoned maker window-shopping for your next obsession, this is the place for you.
If you stick around, we’ll go on a journey through different branches of embroidery: punch needle, bead embroidery, classic embroidery, and more. Right now, we’re starting small and focusing exclusively on punch needle embroidery.

Another highlight of the shop will be the Cozy Book Club, a space for hobbyists and audiobook lovers to gather. Since our hands will be busy crafting, we’ll be focusing on audiobooks.
